The main Theatre4Kids sessions cater for 7 – 10 year olds and are held on a Saturday with two session times available: 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm. The sessions are taught by skilled theatre professionals who have had extensive experience in teaching all aspects of musical theatre.

The classes include training in the major disciplines of; drama, dance and singing, usually following a different theme each term. Theatre4kids prides itself on teaching these elements together, to produce high quality pieces of musical theatre.  This therefore brings variety and interest, as no two classes are ever the same!

There are a maximum of 15 children each session and the excellent ratio of teacher to pupils ensures that the quality and attention to each child remains very high.

There will be a maximum of 15 children in the class, with 2 members of experienced teaching staff. The children will work on specially selected songs and dances, as well as drama games, to build their confidence, musicality and co-ordination at this young and very impressionable age. They really will learn ‘skills for life’.

 Each term will culminate in a cabaret style performance for friends and family but the main emphasis for the term is to have fun!

T4K is our class for older students from 10 – 14 years. These session run alongside the main Theatre4Kids schools on a Saturday. Structured in a similar way to the main school, T4K takes musical theatre to the next level. Aiming to stretch and challenge the children in a professional and disciplined theatrical environment.

Each Theatre4Kids term culminates with a performance to family and friends with a special Theatre4Kids show planned for March 2011.. Theatre4Kids have also performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre, London.
